"I have always loved to make things. As a child my greatest play was to create something from nothing. As an adult, I still like to play! Clay allows me to make lively creations full of personality. I love that these objects move on to a new home where someone else can enjoy them with new enthusiasm."
"I am inspired by the mountains that surround me and the lush plant life that thrives here. I love early twentieth century arts and crafts as well as the art of Ancient Greece and Egypt. In my work, I explore the relationship of glaze with surface and line."
